'Ori Tahiti

The heartbeat of Tahitian dance

The foundation of all Tahitian dance — powerful hip movements, vibrant costumes, and pure joy. Students learn the core vocabulary of 'ori: the fa'arapu, the ami, the pa'oti, and more. This is where every dancer begins.

Aparima

Storytelling through hands and grace

Graceful and expressive, Aparima tells stories of island life through fluid hand gestures and gentle body movement. A beautiful contrast to the power of 'Ori Tahiti — and deeply poetic.

Ote'a

The thunder of the pahu drum

The most electric of all Tahitian dances — performed in groups to the driving rhythm of the pahu drum. Ote'a demands precision, stamina, and collective energy. A true performance discipline.

Kapa

Seated elegance and precision

Performed from a seated or kneeling position, Kapa is a study in upper-body grace and subtle expression. Rooted in ancient island tradition, it is one of the most refined disciplines we teach.

Tahitian Drumming

The sacred rhythms of the pahu

The pahu drum is the soul of Tahitian dance. Students learn traditional rhythms — the himene, the fa'atete, and the to'ere — that drive every performance. Open to all ages and no prior music experience required.

Fire Arts

Fire fans, poi & Samoan fire knife

We teach the ancient art of fire performance with safety, respect, and tradition at the forefront. Disciplines include fire fans, fire poi (Fireboy), and the Samoan fire knife (ailao afi). Students begin with unlit props and progress at their own pace.
